Paulina Bocaz joined the ALMA project in September 2007 as Executive Officer for the Joint ALMA Observatory. She holds a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Latin American Studies, both from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and her Bachelor's degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Prior to joining ALMA, Paulina worked in community development at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC, in the External Affairs Department for Latin America and the Caribbean at the World Bank and in socio-economic research at the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations.
