     3.   A Powerful Supercomputer: To process the massive influx of data, ALMA's correlators —the observatory's "brain" — will be replaced with vastly more powerful supercomputers. These specialized supercomputers will enable ALMA to transform raw signals from the antennas into highly detailed images of the universe.
