After an initial selection from among more than 300 initiatives, the Corporación de Bienes de Capital (CBC, Corporation for Technological Development of Capital Assets) has named the ALMA Observatory the leading investment project in the Technology and Communications category based on its major contribution to Chile’s growth, not only in terms of investment volume but also its correct implementation. The success of its launch, as well as excellent environmental performance, community relations and supplier management during the project’s development and execution, were among the elements evaluated.
