JAO Authors: Marie-Lou Gendron-Marsolais and Chat Hull – The supermassive black hole at the center of the galaxy NGC 1272 powers jets of relativistic particles whose radio emission (red) has been imaged in exquisite detail by the Jansky Very Large Array. The particles' complex choreography is the result of the galaxy’s motion through the dense environment of the Perseus galaxy cluster.
