Presentation of ALMA status to the Chilean Astronomical Community

Presentation of status of ALMA construction and the preparations for operations to the Chilean Astronomical Community by the ALMA Director, Deputy Director, Project Scientist and Head of Science Operations. This talk, which included the ALMA proposal review process and the role of the ALMA regional centers (ARC) in the interaction with the scientific community, was given in the auditorium of the brand new ALMA facilities in Santiago on the 2nd of November
